Desert Rose Drone Flute F4 432 Hz Native American Style

A twin-chamber drone flute in F4, tuned to A = 432 Hz and 3D-printed in soft cream PLA. One chamber carries the melody through six finger holes. The other holds a steady drone underneath, so every note you play has something to rest on.

It's named for the desert rose, the crystal that grows in layered petals out of sand and wind. The flute carries that layered look from head to foot: fine ridges all the way down, like sandstone the wind has worked over. Two horn-shaped blocks sit side by side on top, one for each chamber, and a carved sun medallion on the front holds a pale rose quartz stone.

F4 is the lowest key in the shop, a half step below our F♯ flutes. With the drone underneath, it has a warm, full voice that sounds much bigger than a single flute. Good for meditation and sound baths, or a slow evening at home. You don't need any experience. If you can cover a hole and breathe gently, you'll be playing a simple melody within minutes.

PLA doesn't react to humidity the way wood does, so the flute won't crack or warp with the seasons and never needs oiling. It's light, sturdy and easy to keep clean.

Care: keep it out of hot cars and direct summer sun, since PLA softens in high heat. After playing, tap out moisture and let the flute air-dry. Wipe the outside with a soft cloth and do not soak it.
