The body is two-tone brown. A smooth upper section carries a sun motif with a turquoise-colored stone set into its center, and three curved blocks sit above it in a row. Past the ribbed collar the playing section turns to a fine vertical rib texture, which gives your fingers something to find without looking. It is a big flute, and lighter in the hand than its size suggests.

F♯4 sits low and mellow. The drones fill in underneath, so slow playing carries real weight and a simple melody sounds wider than it is. Good for meditation and sound baths, and for anyone who wants a drone flute with some presence to it.
